review and reorganize organizational structures of ministries/ departments
and agencies. |

To
manage the civil service establishment. |
 |
To
develop systems and procedures within the civil service. |
 |
To
introduce and implement Performance Management System (PMS) in the civil
service. |
 |
To
review and redesign forms used in the civil service. |
THE DEPARTMENT IS DIVIDED INTO (2) SECTIONS WITH THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS
FUNCTIONS
1. ORGANISATIONAL ANALYSIS
 |
To
conduct management audit for ministries/departments and agencies. |
 |
To
facilitate in the development of strategic plans and restructuring of
ministries/departments and agencies. |
 |
To
update and maintain the establishment list of the civil service |
 |
To
review the policy and guidelines for establishment management |
2. OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS
 |
To
undertake studies on quality of service delivery by line ministries. |
 |
To
develop/review organizational systems and procedures and advice accordingly. |
 |
To
oversee implementation of the Performance Management System within the civil
service. |
 |
To
review and redesign HR related forms to ensure alignment with Public Service
Regulations. |
