amendment will apply to both Minister’s chauffeurs and holders of statutory
position chauffeurs. |

Circular on Accident Free Allowance - 05TH
OCTOBER 2004
Circular No. 11 of 1985 authorizes payment of an accident free allowance of
M480.00 per annum to His Majesty’s Chauffeur and to the Honourable
Minister’s Chauffeur. The same circular further authorises payment of
M100.00 accident free allowance to ordinary drivers per annum. |

Revision of Car
Loan Entitlement on Public Servants -
12 AUGUST
2004
It is notified for general information that the car loan entitlements have
been increased by eight percent (8%). This is meant to make cars more
affordable to public officers. The table below shows the current and the
revised entitlements: |

has revealed that the position of Personal Aide was over graded at grade F.
The appropriate grade for this position is grade D. |

Decentralization of Leave
Confirmation and an End to the Practice of Illegal Leave Carry Overs (PDF)
- 16TH MAY, 2001
Addresses are notified for general
information and implementation that a decision has been made to decentralize
the confirmation of annual leave to respective Ministries with effect from
01st June, 2001. Leave confirmations are to be executed in Ministries where
leave records are administered to facilitate proper monitoring. Chief
Accounting Officers are therefore charged with the responsibility to ensure
more effective control over leave records. |
