He went to the National University of Lesotho (NUL) from August 1990 to May 1994, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration and Political Science. He further went to the Institute of Social Studies (Netherlands) from August 1997 to December 1997, where he obtained his M.A in Public Policy and Administration.
Employment History
From February 1995 to March 1999, he worked in the Ministry of Agriculture as Assistant Administrative Officer. In April 1999 to September 2000, he also worked in the same ministry as an Assistant Human Resource Officer. In September he was promoted to the position of Human Resource Officer in the same Ministry. In July 2003, he was again promoted to the position of Director Human Resource in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. He was appointed the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of the Public Service in April 2007 to date, where his responsibilities include supervision and provision of strategic leadership in ministerial human resources activities.
Community and Extra Curricular Activities
He initiated and facilitated the establishment of Makhaleng Development Association in 1994 to spearhead and facilitate growth and development of the region in socio-economic areas.
He also facilitated the establishment of the ten (10) Early childhood development schools throughout Makhaleng region.
He is a registered member and Deputy President of the Lesotho Association of Public Administration and Management (LAPAM) and also a registered psychometric (psychological) Assessor with SHL South Africa.
He facilitated in the installation and provision of piped water by the government of Lesotho in Makhaleng.
He was awarded the best Director of the year in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security in 2003.
He likes sports activities, hiking, community development programmes, writing and reading of books and articles on administrative development and research.
He is married with two Children.
